The Team

Steve brings over 30 years of solar energy experience that includes work on six continents with installation project and training programs in over 20 countries. While employed in the Solar Electric industry for 14 years he focused on international markets and was responsible for the design and sales of thousands of solar power systems including home power, health care, schools, water pumping and telecommunications.
As an international consultant his clients have included solar module manufacturers, United Nations agencies, private business, individuals and the NGO community. He was Chair of the Performance, Quality and Safety Refrigeration Group for the World Health Organization and coordinated the production of standards for vaccine refrigeration and solar power systems.
As a college Professor he co-developed and taught the nationally acclaimed “hands on” Photovoltaics program at Colorado Mountain College while co-authoring training manuals for a variety of organizations including Sandia National Labs and the Pan American Health Organization.
Steve earned both a Masters degree in Adult Education with a solar emphasis ( Colorado State University) and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies / Earth Sciences ( Minnesota State University). Steve’s education continues as he lives with a solar power system on his home.
