The Base of the Pyramid: Reperceiving Business from
the Bottom Up,

This paper provides a brief introduction to the BOP,
a snapshot of a growing, shifting, dynamic space. The goal here is
to inform and stimulate new ideas, better questions, and strategic
conversations about the BOP within the GBN community. To that end,
this paper employs GBN’s approach of applying pluralistic
perspectives, multiple knowledge domains, and longer contextual
views to the exploration of an emerging marketspace and its
implications for companies today.
