Help WISE Bring Clean Energy to Chardonnieres, Haiti!

[ezcol_1half]The Sisters of St. Anne run a school and health facility in the village of Chardonnieres in southwest Haiti.  The buildings are located on the beach, which means that their facility and solar electric systems were severely damaged during Hurricane Matthew last October. St. Anne’s now has no electricity, which limits the important services the nuns can deliver to this battered community.

With your support, the Solar Electric Light Fund will install a 1.6 kW (1,600 watts) solar system so that students will once again have light for studying, and healthcare services can be safely provided to the community.

When all of the costs* are factored in, the project will cost about $6.25 per installed watt of solar-electric panels.   Please fund as many watts as you can to help SELF install clean, sustainable solar electricity to put light back into the lives of those who have endured so many hardships.
