Bring Clean, Reliable Energy Back to a Hurricane-Battered Haitian Village

[ezcol_1half] Imagine a school with no lights.  Or a health facility without electricity to power basic medical equipment or refrigeration for vaccines.  That is what the Sisters of St. Anne are dealing with in the town of Chardonnieres in southwest Haiti.  Last October, their seaside compound was battered by Hurricane Matthew, which wiped out the solar electric system upon which the community relied. Please help the Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF) purchase the equipment for the installation of a new 1.6 kW solar electric system to get the school and health facility back on their feet.WISE DONATION BUTTON

It all adds up to success!

Here’s the deal.  In order for the system to work, all the pieces need to be purchased, which means this requires teamwork!  If everybody takes ownership of a piece of the project, the Sisters of St. Anne will be well on their way to providing modern education and healthcare services to their neighbors in Chardonnieres.wise-logo_VV
