While the SELF staff observes the COVID-19 quarantine, we are busy strategizing about ways in which our organization can help address the challenges related to the current pandemic as well as join in global efforts to better prepare humanity for future outbreaks.

What is needed is a global healthcare infrastructure that can deal effectively with new pathogens that pose a threat to humanity.  An essential component of such an undertaking will be to make sure that even the most remote clinics in the developing world have access to reliable electricity and communications.

We are in discussions with several potential partners to determine how we can best use SELF’s resources and expertise to provide rural clinics with the critical energy resources they need. We will keep you updated on new developments. - Powering a brighter 21st century.
